In 2018, I got the opportunity to study in the UK. I received an offer from Manchester Metropolitan University for studying in a postgraduate program titled MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics. I also managed to get an offer from The University of Manchester for MA in Education program. I had to choose the less expensive option for practical reasons.
Being a student of Sylhet region, Manchester was a good choice. Unlike London, it is not overwhelmingly expensive. The mix of students encouraged me. In my department, most of the students were from Asia. Many of the students were experienced teachers.
